Hi David,

I will be there for the course. One of my colleagues is organizing it.
I am really looking forward to it.

It may not necessarily be sunny here in October. But you'll sure get
lots of beer, birds, kangaroos!!

It's Australia, so lotsa beer goes without saying.

The temperate rainforests just off the coast road (can't remember the name... between Torquay and Apollo Bay, but before
the twelve apostles... somewhere near Lorne) contain lots of koalas nestled up in the trees.... can they be counted in
the bird category?
