Hi,
I want to use the new graphics system so badly, but I run into all
these problems I am not used to. For example, I could not find a
magnifying glass in the plot window in IDL 8.1. Isn't there a simple
way to zoom into a plot? I tried mouse with usual key combinations
(ctrl, shift, alt) to no avail. The post v6.4 help system has become
so difficult to use that I have a hard time finding any of this
information in the help system.

Please please please anyone help or let me know that I am asking for
way too much...

Thanks,
Haje

Just do not confuse me with Paolo, who also posts here frequently.

Paolo,
I couldn't believe it when you wrote it, but it is truly hidden in
plain sight. I guess my problem was being too busy mousing over the
plot at which point this extremely useful help gets written over with
coordinate info.

Thanks,
Haje

One place it appears is the status bar of every Graphic when it is
created.
