This sounds like something I'm experiencing, but I'm not using the
workbench. I'd encourage you to file a support ticket with ITTVIS.
I'm afraid that my ticket will get ignored since I'm using idlwave
rather than the workbench.

I haven't had that problem but sometimes when I'm debugging code and
stepping through it IDL will just freeze. It happens if I hit the
'Step' button too fast sometimes. In some instance IDL will just
disappear which is really bizarre. It's happened a few times when I'm
using the new plot function which will plot something and then IDL
disappeared from the taskbar and I had to reopen IDL to start over.
It's not as frequent so hasn't annoyed me much. By the way I'm on a 64
bit Windows 7 machine if it matters. Thanks.

Thanks Guys.

I have now to reboot my computer each time I click FORMAT...time to
contact ITTVIS.
