Wind Barbs in IDL... [message #1614]

G'day all,
I'm interested in plotting some cross-sections (xz) of
atmospheric winds, and although VELOVECT is usable, I'd prefer a
conventional windbarb representation. Does anyone know if such a
routine is generally available, or will I have to try and write one
myself?!
