Hello folks,

When I prepare a single-column plot for publication, I find 2.8 inches is often a good choice as the width of the figure. However, if I open an eps file with that width, the dashes and spacing in a dashed line plot are simply too large to be looking good. So, it will be nice to scale the those things down a bit. Unfortunately, I didn't find any solutions with Google. So, I am wondering if anybody knows how to do that. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I know I could always make an eps plot with width larger than 2.8 inches and scale down the whole figure afterwards. But I figure it would be must nicer if I can save that hassle.
