Some more info...
Running IDL 8.1 and Netbeans 7.0
It seems that I can catch errors and it returns sometimes. I also
found if a process hangs all subsequent ones (idl_opserver), don't
start. If I have the workbench running, I noticed more inconsistent
results more hangs.
