I want a contour plot over a whole world map
(-180 to 180, -90 to 90). I am using idl 4.0 which
gives bad results on any plot I give it where a contour
line crosses a plot border. I tried a fake surrounding
ring of negative values around the borders of my array
in hopes that would solve the problem but I had no longitude
to give it since REAL data extended to -180 to 180. On the
FAQ they talked about this a little, seemed to say the
problem was solved but things sure don't work for me
