Function 'folfing' in IDLDE 7.1? [message #77713] Wed, 21 September 2011 16:49

Hi Folks,

I'm using the DE in IDL 7.1 and I have some files (custom object
definitions) that have many functions/procedures in them so I use the
'folding' of the text (not sure of the correct term, the things where
you can click the circles with +/- on the left to hide the source code
of a function/procedure).

The problem is that every time I open a file, the default is to have
all functions unfolded and it is time consuming to click them all
close so that I can more easily browse the file to work on differrent
functions. Does anyone know if there is an option to have all of these
closed when you open a new file? I couldn't find anything in the menus
or help, but then again it's hard to guess what to search for when you
don't know the proper name of the feature in question!

Any tips?
