Well, I have to admit, I still use the ol' CURSOR
command too on the odd occasion. Even in Coyote
Graphics. For example, it is used with the PLACE
keyword to cgText to allow the user to place
some text in a regular ol' graphics window. :-)

cgDisplay
cgText, /PLACE, 'Use CURSOR to locate this text', COLOR='red'
