Answering myself... :P
If ((x-X0)/a)^2. + ((x-X0)/a)^2. + ((x-X0)/b)^2. is less-equal 1 then
the point X,Y,Z is in the spheroid. a and b define the horizontal and
vertical radius that define the spheroid.
I think this is correct,
