Hi everyone,
I'd like to open a Fortran direct access file with IDL while keeping
the logical records structure, so that I can read a given logical
record of the Fortran file without having to read the entire Fortran
file. I'm not sure if it is possible because IDL treats files as an
uninterrupted stream of bytes. Nevertheless, do anyone knows if there
is a way to do so ?

Cheers,
