Folks,

I was thinking about fishing today, and was looking for
Tenkara flies, when I ran across this page for
JD Smith Tenkara Flies:

http://www.tenkarabum.com/jd_smiths-tenkara-flies.html

Does anyone know if this is OUR JD Smith? :-)

Cheers,

David

P.S. If it is, I'm happy to trade books for flies! :-)

Oh, The River Why, one of my all-time favorites.
I remember first reading it on a plane, and people
all around me turning in their seats to see why
I was guffawing so loudly! I've probably read
that book four or five times. I know my favorite
copy's spine is broken and it has pages falling
out of it.

I taught an ultralight backpacking class last
weekend for the first time to generally favorable
reviews. Perhaps I should start organizing
IDL backpack and fishing trips in Colorado.
It couldn't be any less lucrative a venture
than selling IDL books. ;-)

Cheers,

David

I wish it were. Just this week I'm reading The River Why and wondering why it's been so long since I've wetted a line. I'm also not the famous knife designer:

Sigh...
