Same size on my Mac. This is an unprofessional opinion, but I
think it is because SGI fonts are screwy. I remember the first
time I wrote a program for a client with an SGI machine on my
Mac. Man, it looked sharp...until I put it on his machine! What
bozo calling himself an IDL programmer wrote this?!

I've never forgotten the message. My first question after
"How much you gonna pay me?" is "You're not gonna be
running this on an SGI, are you?" If the answer is "yes"
then every graphic command I write has a CHARSIZE
keyword with a number multiplied by some user-supplied
scaling factor. *Every* one!
