Hi all

I recently installed IDL 8.1 after having used 7.1 for a number of
years. I'm still fighting with the system to set it up in a manner
that I can work with but there is one thing that I can’t seem to
configure and was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right
direction.

In 7.1, when working with windows there they appeared in a separate
icon to that of the IDL icon itself (i.e. there was one icon for the
workbench and another icon for the windows open).

I am trying to get the same feature in 8.1 but can’t seem to work out
how to do it - the windows all seem to appear under the workbench
icon.

Does anyone have an idea to fix this?
