WAV-files on webpages [message #8003]

I'm looking for a way how to create sound on a webpage in the form of a
loop. For example I have a WAV-file, which I loop and you get non-stop
sound.
How can I achieve this?

I am guessing <backround src="sound.wav"> or something like that. Like Rob
Frydryck stated, repeating sounds is an excellent way of keeping that web
counter low. Even MIDI files are kinda annoying. I think the web should
just stick to visual, not audio (I could name olfactory, taste, and touch,
but that'd be one sick webpage anyway!) Regards,

Do you REALLY want to do this??? Most of the time continuous sounds
are MIDI files not wav, and unless you have a REALLY INCREDIBLE track
your effort simply becomes annoying to the person viewing your page.
I suggest you don't play continuous sounds.

I did exactly the same thing (pu a .wav as a background music) but
when ever someone went on to my pages they got a warning saying that a
file was loading into their system which could not be scaned for virus
ect or something like that, but use midi files as when ever I have
gone onto a site with midi as background music nothing comes up and it
just loads and plays no prbs
