Wow, not terrifically surprising, but still difficult to believe!

I know you will be sorely missed both here and through the IDL Coyote
site.

But, the new gig sounds great. Especially the 'more time in
mountains' part ;)

We have heard rumblings of discontent before ... and can only hope that this
time (after sniffing around the Python cage) ... you will pull a Farvian-unretire
and come back to the fold.

If not, the best of luck, health and happiness to you and your family.

You have been a great asset to us all and will be sorely missed.
