Fellow IDL folks:
The brain imaging group I am working with is interested in
implementing some sort of 3D rendering to enhance the accuracy
of localization of structures within the human brain in Magnetic
Resonance images.
We are only in the very preliminary stages, wondering what the
different options are with regards to the best techniques to use.
We are hoping that someone has approached this problem already,
and may have some pointers to existing software programs or routines
(preferably in C).
Also, if you have any suggestions for using IDL's rendering tools,
or some example code, I would be extremely grateful. I remember
trying IDL's rendering about a year ago and not being terribly
impressed with the results. Maybe I just didn't know what I was
doing (which I hope is the case).
Thanks!
Dave
