Hi,
I guess that this would do:

FileNameRoot = 'MyFileName_'
FOR I=0,nFiles-1 DO BEGIN
FileName = FileNameRoot + STRING(I,FORMAT='(I03)') + '.hdf'
H=hdf_open(FileName,/all)
; Now work with the file...
ENDFOR
