Hi,

I'm having problems reading an 11.5GB fits file. I have a 64-bit idl running under mac OS 10.6.8 (64-bit too). The machine has 96GB RAM. I would have thought that with such SPEC I shouldn't have any problems.

The max file size I can read is a 10.09GB file.

Any idea where the problem is?
