I've been using Exceed for several years with IDL, and
I've been very happy with it. I've used it on a variety of PC's
(486 and up), with IDL running on a variety of Sun workstations.
I haven't found anything that doesn't work. The only problems I've
had are colormap problems - sometimes I get stuck with a black and
white colormap even if I've chosen another one.

We use Exceed now and then in the following configurations,

DecAlpha <-> Digital Venturis 590
Zenith 433 Dx

Graphics in general are OK, best of course to have a large screen.
I just tried the cursor function, it works

best regards,

Yves
