In IDL help (in my browser), using the "Contents" selection I see it under:

IDL Programming -> Objects -> Object Oriented Programming.

Seems to have all the usual stuff. The PDF's in the /help directory in
the distribution only seem to cover the topics listed under "Additional
Topics" in the browser-based help.

Following the links in the online help, all of the Object Programming
htmls are in:
<your install location>/idl82/help/online_help/IDL/Content/Objects

No pdf's tho'.

cheers,

paulv

Mike,

Thanks - I'll go and find an earlier version.

Cheers

George.

I see it in the IDL 7.1 help viewer (which is the earliest version of
the help that actually still will run on my Mac) and also as a pdf in
IDL 8.0, but it doesn't look like it made it to IDL 8.1 and beyond.
