The other amusing (or, frustrating, if you are the instructor) behavior is the continuing circus of the WSHOW command. Sometimes it works, although most of the time it doesn't. But, sometimes, it works by bringing your Internet Browser, or IDL On-Line help, or GSView window, or God only knows what, forward on the display.

It just serves to remind you of how playful IDL can be. ;-)
