I'm sure this answer is in one of David's books or the Coyote website, but I can't find it. I am projecting data onto a map, using a projection that preserves distances, and I want to put a horizontal bar down in the corner of the map showing the map scale. This is something simple in ENVI, but I want to do it in IDL. Has anyone tackled this?
