Hello,
My installation of IDL 3.6.1 under HP Unix did not survive
the system upgrade to HP-UX 10.20. I am trying to tvscl square
2-dimensional arrays, which works fine if the dimensions are
le 180, otherwise it hangs idl. Does anybody have an explanation/
remedy for this? Help would be very much appreciated.

I met the same problem when upgrading from HP-UX 10.01 to 10.20
with IDL 4.0.1
You need to install two HP patches (available through the net from HP)
PHCO_8892 and PHCO_9295 (they concern libcurses)
Our problem is now fixed.
