ok, I am using idlwave v6.1_em22

Because I am a user on a linux cluster, can u tell me if I can install locally in my home a different version idlwave and how?

This sounds like an idlwave problem I've encountered before. Are you able to
upgrade your idlwave installation? It looks like it's somewhat stale at this
point, but I'd try to use the version on github locally and see if that fixes
your problem. https://github.com/jdtsmith/idlwave

Sorry, I thought I answered yesterday. You can download it on github and
install it in your home directory. Just make sure the install directory is
in your load-path before the default installation.
