We have recently aquired a sparcprinter running off of a Sparcstation 2 for
IDL output, running Newsprint. When trying to do a plot using the psym=3
(dots or periods) option, no dots appear on the sparcprinter. The same
postscript file sent to any other normal postscript printer produces dots
just fine. Has anyone else run into this problem? Otherwise the sparcprinter
does everything else (greyscale, line plots, etc.) just fine.
