IDL Workbench & jumping back to STOP/breakpoints [message #84278] Wed, 08 May 2013 10:44

If have a STOP or breakpoint in my code for debugging purposes, then,
after hitting the STOP/breakpoint, I scroll the editor window so that
the line containing the breakpoint or STOP is off screen and then I
issue a command (e.g HELP, someVariable), the editor window will jump
back to the line containing the breakpoint or STOP. I find this behavior
extremely irritating but have not found an option to turn this off in
the Preferences. Anyone have any thoughts?

Note that I am running IDL Workbench Version: 7.1.0, Build id: 20090421

Regards,

John
