Let me put it this way, Troy. IDL 5 is a *major* new release. I wouldn't
be reading the hype and throwing away your old version of IDL just yet. :-)
I have both versions installed and I am working in IDL 5.0 most of the time
now with good success so far. It seems like a lot of bugs were fixed.
