Basically, while debugging a couple layers deep in a program, I impatiently RETALL to start over again. This causes the following types of errors

% Internal error: Interpreter stack not aligned properly during user return.
Segmentation fault

% Temporary variables are still checked out - cleaning up...
% Temporary variables are still checked out - cleaning up...
Segmentation fault


David Fanning's explanation here seems to be my problem.

I also get a segmentation fault if I compile the program while STOPped. I get several

% Procedure was compiled while active: myPROGRAM. Returning.

Then a pause. Then

Segmentation fault
