Is there any experience in the difference of using IDL on Digital Alpha
machines under VMS/UNIX contrast to WindowsNT?
So at least the question is: Is IDL written for the WindowsNT/Alpha code
or for the WindowNT/Intel code?
The reason for my question is, if IDL works much better for the Intel
used code, the Alpha chip waste half of his time to translate the intel
code.
Eventually a reason to use VMS or UNIX.
Regards
Achim
