Allocate more virtual memory to your IDL process.

: I don't believe that the .size command is relevant to the "not enough core"
: error message. As I understand it, this cannot be solved at the user level,
: but must be addressed at the system manager level. Either one needs to create
: more swap space, or increase the user's quota if the machine uses process
: quotas. I know that the latter is true on VMS systems, but I don't think it's
: generally true under Unix. I don't know about Windows or MacOS.

It is (true, that is) under HP-UX.

i worked on an ALPHA 3.2g and started IDLHELP and find topic ".SIZE". ...

after some momments my X-Terminal crashed...

Wunderfull, as i could reproduce it!

anybody with the same experiance? We use 4.01a!

PS: on VMS 4.01b everything went OK in the IDLHELP...

Hi,

IS anyone aware of an extensive IDL routine library (free or
otherwise)for calculating power spectrum, corr. coe., spectrum analysis,
etc.. (excluding the one on the IDL web site)?

Thanks again for your help, JOhn
