Hello,

i am working with IDL since 10 months. Now I want to start something more complicated (for me).

I have a disturbance map of 2007. The resolution is 25 metres.
And I have a land cover map. The resolution is 250 metres.

Can you recomment a web-tutorial for me or something which helps me to start with this challenge?

I am thankful for every help.
regards,

Thors

Westley: I mean, if we only had a wheelbarrow, that would be something.

Inigo Montoya: Where we did we put that wheelbarrow the albino had?

Fezzik: Over the albino, I think.

Westley: Well, why didn't you list that among our assets in the first
place?

Do you have any other assets? Are these images georegistered?
Separately? To one another? Do you know how to use Congrid?

Otherwise, I would recommend the Princes Bride as a useful tutorial. The
most useful piece of advice in the movie: "Get used to
disappointment." :-)

Cheers,

David

Hello David,

I think my english is not good enough to understand what you want to tell me with these movie quotes :D

The images are georegistered. I have a seperate Disturbance .tif image with 25m resolution and a seperate land cover .tif image with 250m resolution. I don't know how to use congrid till now :-/

What I want to do is a homogeneity analysis with the two raster datasets. I need to create a graphical interface to start comparing.

During my practical work i learned some basic skills about IDL. Most time i worked with ENVI. But now if it gets more complicated, i really dont know what to do next, so i was asking for a tutorial ;-)

Thank you and have a nice day
