Before I go and start modifying it, has anyone improved upon the user
library procedure ANNOTATE? It looks like a good idea, but unfortunately
is not very well implemented. I need something that will, like ANNOTATE,
draw the output on screen, and also send the results to a Postscript
file.
Cheers,
Liam.

I've used IDL 5.0B5, and unless I'm missing something, the ANNOTATE
widget looks pretty much identical to the IDL 4.0.1 version.
