Dear colleagues,

I habve the problem to read images from the VGA memory of my PC (WINDOWS
3.11) from IDL.

The address where the image is located is known. Therefore I need an IDL
callable C-DLL, which follows the C-convention in order to be able to use
the CALL_EXTERNAL command.

Parameters passed to the routine should be a starting address and a
stopping address or a starting address and a number of pixels or a
starting address and the dimensions of the image in x- and y-direction.

Can anybody help me with a routine of this type?

Many thanks and best regards
