Today morning I saw: "IDL is not a typewriter"... after trying to
run a program which loads some files before processing them..

This is at a Dec Alpha, running Unix.

Neither the IDL file, nor the fortran program which produced the data
to be displayed had been changed and they had ran fine in the past

I suspect it is all about lack of memory.. A few hours later, I ran
exactly the same sequence and it did not complain at all.

So what was the message about? A full text search on the online help
did not turn up anyhting.

Thanks a lot for any help
