Hello everyone,
Please let me know how to remove outliers from the data. My data is like year vs data and I have to remove the outliers from the data.
Please help me out in this regard.

I've had pretty good luck just printing the plot and then using white-
out to remove outliers. If you are careful, and let it dry completely
before re-scanning the plot, it works great.

David is being sarcastic because outlier filtering is difficult. You need to know something about the outliers you wish to remove. There are some hits when you google for "idl outlier" but you will have to assess if they are appropriate for your problem. (do they accept too many outliers? do they reject too many? etc)
