Hi,

DORADE(Doppler Radar Data Exchange Format) is one of the weather radar format developed by NCAR. I would like to data analysis of DORADE data however, I am in fail to read this DORADE data in IDL?

Are there any IDL routine or procedures to read DORADE data or to convert DORADE to netCDF that can be able to read in IDL?

Sincerely,

You might try contracting somebody at NCAR. There are people there who use IDL. Try starting with

Actually, I think that you could just use RadxConvert [1] to convert the DORADE file to Cf/Radial, which is really just a netCDF file, and then read the netCDF file with the IDL routines. This is probably the response that you would get from NCAR.
