Hello,

I am trying to align two images with "ROT" function in IDL since I also need to demagnify one of them. But now for compensate the shift between them, which I change the xctr and yctr in rot command, I found it impossible to overcome the shift and align them. Do you think I should use "Shift" function beside "ROT" function?

I found this link relevant to my question:

https://groups.google.com/d/topic/comp.lang.idl-pvwave/gJOaD 7x7k-g/discussion

where I could't figure it out how to use either Hongjie code in IDL/Envi (I have only IDL!) or Metfcalf code ( it seems it should work in IDl/SSW) , and I could't find any instruction or examples to use these codes.

Would you please help me ?
