A number of folks have written to me with comments about
my SLICE program. I just wanted to alert you that it has been
extensively modified. You can now produce GIF, TIFF, and JPEG
as well as PostScript files. The program has also been made
compatible with 24-bit displays.

Looking at my page counter, a number of you have been visiting
and downloading some of my new files. Just a work of caution.
I have been testing the hell out of these files before I put them
on the ftp site, but the trickster coyote keeps showing his head at the
most inopportune times. Make a note to check back in a week
or so and get the *latest* edition of the program.
(I have a *great* deal more sympathy for what RSI is going
through right now, believe me!)
