Hi,
I am using a function called "spheretool.pro" for my University research < link:http://physics.nyu.edu/grierlab/software/spheretool.pro >

. In this function contains a sub function called circ. I am having trouble defining the function as I cannot find the code online. Did the name get changed to something else (circle.pro)? Anyone have any idea on what it is and where I can get the code?

Thank you in advance!
Nitsorn

I suspect that it is the same circ.pro located in

http://www.physics.emory.edu/faculty/weeks//idl/miscidl.zip

also from David Grier. --Wayne

Hi Nitsorn,

I wrote spheretool, and apparently forgot to release circ.pro. I've uploaded it to my repository on
github: https://github.com/davidgrier/utility/

For what it's worth, my group has started using a newer version of the holographic video microscopy code that's released in the lmsphere repository on the same github site.

TTFN,

David

Hi Prof. Grier,
Thank you for your reply. I actually sent an email to one of your students (I assume), Chiong, asking about this. I will check out the newer version as well, thank you for introducing it to me. Your work on HVM is highly valuable to our current research on particle tracking. Appropriate references will be made.
Thank you,
Best wishes,
Nitsorn
