Hello,

I am trying to create a movie with multiple *.png files. The problem I am facing is that my IDL does not find the IDLFFVIDEOWRITE function and thus I am not able to proceed further.

Attempt to call undefined procedure/function: 'IDLFFVIDEOWRITE'

Can anyone share these IDL function files? I know that these must be in the IDL function library but I find them missing.

I can suppose that you haven't license for it.

citing from IDL 8.3 help

"Note: IDLffVideoWrite is a licensed feature, which means that you must have a IDLffVideoWrite license available to use IDLffVideoWrite features. "

From previos version of IDL creating movies also required additional licence. Seems it was free, but you need ask Exelis Team to get this license

I don't know how much does this licence cost for IDL 8.x or it also free as before
