I am looking for any reference (IDL) cases or existing IDL routines for Maxwell equation solution. Any comment on IDL for Maxwell equation solution is appreciated. Are there any person to touch this issues in IDL?

It's usually quite application specific, depending on what symmetry you have, what boundary conditions and what initial conditions.

A number of years ago I used IDL to solve Maxwell's equations for a particular set of conditions and assumptions. The results are here:

I include sample code.
