I've just installed emacs on an NT workstation. I can't seem to
get a process going with IDL in it. I'm using the same .emacs,
idl.el, and idl-shell.el that I have on a UNIX system that runs
fine (except I can't get it to indent automatically either). All are
the latest versions I could find emacs 19.34.1, idl.el 1.35,
idl-shell.el 2.2.

I've used emacs for awhile on unix machines, but have never
delved too much into it. I've only started learning how to
customize it in the .emacs file (fortunately I've used lisp
before).

Thanks for any help.

Regards,
Mark Cook
