I have a binary mask (just 1s and 0s) and I need to extract the boundery polygons of 1s and convert them to a KML or shapefile. All the documentation I've found seems to suggest that 'Find_Boundary' routine written by idlcoyote will work. I tried quite a few times but did not get any satisfactory results. Does anyone know how to create Shapefile/KML files from outputs of CONTOUR keywords PATH_INFO and PATH_XY

Since nobody knows what "satisfactory" means for you, you will more
likely get an answer by being more specific, i.e.:
- what did you try?
- what did not work *precisely* for you?
