What's the best way to convert a movie created in IDL to mpeg or Quicktime
formats?

Thanks in advance,
Josh

Hi Josh,

There is a short article with code for creating MPEG movies in IDL
in the IDL Programming Tips section of my web page.

Cheers!

Josh -

I've mailed you a routine WRITE_MPEG that I got through this
newsgroup some time ago. It requires the executable "mpeg_encode"
that you can download from the net (location in mail message).
If anyone else is interested in this, let me know.

Dave
