IDL> st = {field:FLTARR(3)}
IDL> help, st
** Structure <628cb278>, 1 tags, length=12, data length=12, refs=1:
FIELD FLOAT Array[3]
IDL> help, st.field
<Expression> FLOAT = Array[3]
IDL> array = st.field
IDL> print, array
