Hi

I am looking for a documentation which gives me the IDL equivalents of all IRAF commands available.
Is there one available?
Or is there any documentation on IDL image processing tools?

Thanks

Hello-- You'll want to check out the IDL Astronomy Library
http://idlastro.gsfc.nasa.gov/
IDL is not a one-to-one replacement for IRAF.

I couldn't be more negative on IRAF if I tried. But, if you're going to be an astronomer, then some knowledge and even fluency of IRAF is required. Just learn the few routines you need in IRAF, then figure out how to write them in IDL.
