I have a plot in IDL but there is a long blank space between two groups of data. I would like to make a plot a suppress the section in blank by cutting that part of the x-axis.

Does anyone know how I could cut that bank section of the plot?.

All the best and thanks.

Hi,
How about to plot the left part using the position keyword limiting the right side to 0.5 in normalized coordinates and then plotting the right side adding the no_erase keyword, using the position keyword to limit it to the right side and suppressing the y axis.
No idl to test, but that would be my go.
Does it work?
Cheers Helder
