Hello All,

I'm involved in a study of airglow, for which we use a number of different cameras. As we already use IDL to process the images, it would be nice, in a perfect world, to have IDL control the cameras for image acquistion too.

So I'm wondering if anyone has already written an IDL wrapper to the ASCOM
interface that allows control of cameras with ASCOM drivers, and would be prepared to share that code?

Thanks,

Andrew

David Grier posted something recently about capturing images directly into IDL. It might be relevant...

Hi Matthew,

Different kettle of fish altogether I'm afraid.

Thanks anyway.

Andrew
