Hello,

Hi,

I have a set of codes that run perfect on my work desktop running 64 bits Ubuntu 12.04 precise with IDL 83.

Now I want to run the same code on my new desktop at home running 64 bit Ubuntu 14.02 with IDL 83. I got errors

////////////////
% Attempt to call undefined procedure/function: 'CHECK_FILENAME'.
//////////////

check_filename.pro is in the directory. The permission is also ok.

Is this error from the two versions of ubuntu?
Appreciate any tips to solve this errors.

thanks in advance.

This looks like a path problem. Could it be that at the old system you had two versions of check_filename? Or that you change the working directory within IDL before calling the function (and that the directory where the function is is not in the path)?
